If I have all of my music on my itunes software and in that library will i have to buy only ipods?

For the rest of my life? I know itunes converts the files from, say wma's to aac's....all my music is in that library (the itunes) because i consolidated--what if I want to buy a Zune or Creative Zen? Will I still be able to play the songs?
