Censorship? Helpful or Hindrance?

It would depend on who we are censoring as to whether I'm pro or con. If it's the whole country then I believe it's unfair. Now if you are talking about (as listed) school, work, library & such. Well at school you have to consider that the children you are dealing with are minors that aren't in you're care so yes you should censor what they do on the internet. Nothing like ticking off an overbearing parent. At work, you are being paid to work and not socialize or amuse yourself online so yes they have a right to censor. Personally the only place I would say they shouldn't have jurisdiction over your online viewing habits would be on your own personal pc.
