Am i his rebound girl??

Well my best guy friend just broke up with his gf of 5 months. We have been friends for almost 3 years. Well we have been really close...like we tell each other everything. So close the his parents said we are attached at the hip lol. Anyway we used to like each other but we never did anything about it. So now after he broke up with his gf he was hugging me a lot, scotching closer to me when we are sitting down and stuff like that. Well now he is like obsessing over everything about me. he was looking through my phone(at the messages and pictures), talking to another girl and looking back at me, and is very interested in who im texting and so on.
