Gun politics?

i have a 6 page editorial or essay (whatever you wanna call it) on a certain topic due tomorrow! i chose "Gun Politics" but i'm not really sure how to start. if u have any good ideas on how to start my intro it would be great. i can do the rest because once i get the intro done things start moving along. also if you have any ideas of good websites for info (dont say wikipedia) that would also be very nice.
