Destin redfishing in March?

I am taking my family to Destin in March and wanted to know if the redfishing is good then. I have a lot of b gear and hope that I could use my b baitcasters and spinning rods on them. We'll get a guide if we need to. Cabin fever has set in and Im going crazy to get on the water. Any gulf fishermen/women have some advice for a midwesterner?
