Diffusion, osmosis, active transport????? please help?

Im studying science at colege and today we have been doing about diffusion, osmosis and active transport. Is there any way of rememberingthese easily, what they are, what they do? I dont get any of it. I also want to know what hypotonic, hypertonic, and isotonic are, and what they are and do - as simple as possible please - thanks.
